Can the Lawn Roller be used as a Lawn Aerator?
No, there is no provision to insert the metal spikes in the Lawn Roller.

Can the Lawn Aerator be used as a Lawn Roller?
Yes, simply remove the metal spikes before use.

What is the weight of the Lawn Roller/Aerator when full?
The Lawn Roller/Aerator weighs approximately 6kgs when empty. The plastic drum has a capacity of 60 litres. We would suggest that the drum be filled to approximately 90% capacity i.e. 54 litres. If using water, 54 litres of water would weigh 54 kgs, therefore total weight when full with water would be approximately 60kgs. It is not always necessary to totally fill the aerator. Often 50% is adequate depending on the ground to be aerated.

My area to be aerated is very hard, will it still aerate?
From our experience this is a very common question. We would suggest that the aerating process be undertaken over three separate passes. First pass, 30% fill the aerator, second pass 60% and then lastly fill drum to 90%. This way the hard surface is gradually introduced to the aerator, like chipping away at a hard surface. We suggest aerating such surfaces soon after rain or moistening the surface first. In most instances the tapered spikes will penetrate easily.

How do I carry and store the Lawn Aerator?
To prevent accidental injury, we recommend the metal spikes are removed immediately before and after use. To store, may be mounted on a wall by the handle, making sure that the aerator does not fall off the wall.

I have lost a metal spike can I buy a replacement?
In the unfortunate event that a spike is lost, replacement sets of metal spikes are available. Please order direct from our website (www.rotoplasdirect.com.au)

Can I use the Lawn Roller/Aerator with a ride on?
Many clients have adapted their Lawn Roller/Aerator to their ride on. The actual size of the adaptor will vary according to their ride on attachment/mounting bracket. Fabricate a piece to suit the ride on and the handle of the lawn roller/aerator. Centre the metal pierce on the Lawn Roller/Aerator, drill a hole in the bar either side plus 5mm. Insert screw and nut. This will stop the metal piece sliding along the bar.

Currently we only produce a 60 Litre unit.

What is the warranty?
Each unit is sold with a two year full manufacturers warranty from the date of original invoice. All Warranty claims must be approved in advance by the manufacturer.
