Warranty

ROTOPLAS 15 YEAR PRO-RATA GUARANTEE

The workmanship and materials of new Rotoplas rainwater tanks are covered by a 15 year pro-rata guarantee. Rotoplas will assess all written claims and then repair or replace the product at its sole discretion.

This guarantee is subject to the following conditions:

A copy of this form must be signed and returned to Rotoplas within thirty days of tank purchase.
The guarantee is granted to the original purchaser and is not transferable nor does it cover rainwater tanks which have been relocated from the purchaser's original address.
The guarantee is limited to the repair or replacement of the tank only, at the sole discretion of Rotoplas.
Rotoplas is not liable for any consequential losses including loss of profit or damage to property or any other associated costs that may occur when repair or replacement of the tank is carried out.
The guarantee does not apply to the tank colour which may in time fade or change.
The guarantee applies to the one piece polyethylene structure of the tank and does not extend to fittings such as the strainer, outlet, tap, overflow or any other fittings.
Any accessories supplied but not manufactured by Rotoplas will be covered by the relevant manufacturer's warranty. Rotoplas is not liable for any warranty on these products or damage caused by any fault.
Defects or faults in the tank caused by after sale modifications by the customer or the installation of fittings which are not suitable for the particular tank will not be covered by the guarantee.
Rotoplas tanks are designed and manufactured for the storage of cool water. The guarantee will not cover damage caused to the tank by the storage of water at elevated temperatures.
The guarantee is void if installation is not carried out strictly in accordance with Rotoplas' written instructions.
Rotoplas rainwater tanks are designed for stationary storage of water. Transport of water in tanks voids the guarantee.
Rotoplas must be notified of any defect or fault within seven days of it occurring and be given opportunity to inspect the tank within twenty eight days of such notification.
The guarantee is void in the event of damage due to war, riot, civil commotion, terrorist activities or acts of God.
Approval from Rotoplas must be obtained before any remedial action or warranty will be void.
